Halloween Activities in The Smokies

‘Spooky Season’ is among us! If you’re wondering what the best Halloween activities in the Smokies are, we’ve got you covered. Here are our favorite things to do during the spookiest month of the year!

1. Take a Ghost Tour

Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg takes you on a leisurely stroll through the hidden alleys and shadowy streets of the Smokies while you hear tales of the past and learn Gatlinburg history along the way. Gatlinburg might be more haunted than you think…

2. Spend the Day at Kyker Farms

Go on an authentic farm adventure at Kyker Farms  featuring corn mazes, hay rides, pumpkin patches, a petting zoo, a playground fit for adults and kids, and much more! This farm is owned and operated by the Kyker family; 9 generations strong!

3. Trick-or-Treat at The Island

A trip to Pigeon Forge isn’t complete without going to The Island. Halloween is no exception! Dress up in your best costumes and head there for the ultimate trick-or-treat experience. Every store there gives out candy, and you’re sure to get a sugar rush!

4. Great Pumpkin LumiNights! At Dollywood

Check out everything you need to know by clicking this link! Dollywood’s Harvest Festival is an experience you don’t want to miss out on- trust us! Thousands of pumpkins and decorations light the way through the number 1 theme park in Tennessee. The photo ops and family fun are endless at Dollywood!

5. Pigeon Forge Parks & Recreation Halloween Scavenger Hunt

This year the city is celebrating its 20th annual Halloween event! On October 28th, this free event is a fun alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Drive by our friends at Crave Golf Club and Lumberjack Feud for treats, or head to the Pigeon Forge Community Center for fun booths handing out candy!
